Our Story

When asked where Robyn Skincare came from, it's true what many people say, in that ideas are often born due to personal life experience, and Robyn products are a true testament to that. 

Founder: Eleanor Robyn Olsen

After being diagnosed with an auto-immune disease in my early thirties, I began managing it with lifestyle and nutritional changes, as well as reassessing my daily skincare and body products. After seeing significant success with the approach I was taking, and with a strong desire to help and educate others, I re-trained in biochemistry. In 2018 I was shocked to learn I had melanoma skin cancer. This not only wholeheartedly changed my entire perspective on life, and what's important, but also gave me an intense interest in skin, and skin health.  I subsequently re-qualified as an organic cosmetic formulator. 

After two years of research, Robyn Skincare was set in motion.

WHEN YOU APPLY SOMETHING TO YOUR SKIN EVERYDAY, THINK OF IT AS FOOD. IT NEEDS TO BE NOURISHING, NON-TOXIC, AND PREFERABLY A PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE

The ethos behind Robyn is multi-faceted. I feel that skincare isn't just about aesthetics or results (albeit important), but a heavier weighting should be placed upon skin health. I became impassioned to develop products that ticked all of those boxes, and that meant creating 'all and only natural, results driven formulas.'

We're led to believe there are only two options available. Natural products that don't contain harmful ingredients but are questioned in terms of efficacy, or, synthetic products that often include questionable ingredients, but are seen as more reliable in terms of aesthetic results.

OUR FORMULAS ARE TOXIN FREE

We realise just how important it is to take care of what we put into and onto our bodies, and that means no artificial fragrances/parfum, colours or preservatives, no phthalates, no parabens, no PEGs, no SLS or formaldehydes, and in short.......no toxins and no controversial ingredients.

The jury is out on whether certain ingredients are acceptable or not in skincare, but when creating formulas we absolutely have a choice, and we choose 'only natural'
